Forward viewing camera.
I like the ability to view what's in front of my Vette when I'm parking. But the only way I can figure to turn on the camera is to put my car in Reverse then Forward to get the camera to turn on. Wish it would turn ON when I'm going slow. Any better way?

Love it when problems/ questions are answered quickly around here, love this place! A piggyback & related question since tlippy's question is answered: cannot move my camera icon (any icon for that matter) from page 2 to page 1. Followed instructions, applied differing levels of pressure (for varying periods of time) but can't relocate an icon. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? TY

i find it a pain to go to screen 2 to get the camera, can the icon be moved to screen 1 ? I find i'm putting it into R all the time... it's a great feature but i wish that both cameras would be of higher definition.

It's a really pain to move the icon from one page to the next. I think the trick (or part of the trick) it so go all the way to the screen end and hold it there for a while. All I know is once I did that I stopped trying to figure out how I did it.

Those forward facing cameras are a primary reason I am replacing my 2014 with a 2017, virtually the same car just a different color (Admiral Blue with a black top and matching black interior). A great deal and now the December incentive helps a lot.

Push the Home button to bring up the icons screen. Touch and hold the one you wish to move. Hold it for maybe 2 seconds and the orange outline around it should turn blue. At that point you should be able to drag it to a new location. To get an icon to the first page from the second, just drag it to the very left edge, hold it there and it should appear on that first page.
That worked for me in my 2016 Z51 build date January 2016.

Thanks you guys! Don't know what I was doing wrong, but ExRedRacer: it worked exactly as you described, first try. (What the heck WAS I doing??)
Another related challenge presented, related to Car Play. I use it often, and as I endeavored to get camera icon from page 2 to 1, I'd like to move the Spotify icon from 3rd page to 1st page*. Is this is big deal? Of course not, but IF I'm able to select Spotify with fewer steps, I'd like to. Appreciate everyone's input.
* Of course I tried same procedure as used to move camera icon, but it didn't work. Not surprising given "Car Play" is a different animal.
