I'm looking to store my car away for the winter (4 month's ) Should I start it up every week? Keep the battery charger that came with the car plugged in and forget about it? Will I get a flat spot on the tires? Anyone with advice? Thanks!
Reverse Logic have mats to park on if you're worried about flat spotting your tires. It would probably be a good idea to use the GM trickle battery charger if the car will be parked for four months..
Do NOT start every week. Just leave the battery maintainer plugged-in. The latest info from GM is to keep the fuel level at 1/4 tank, and add Stabil to the fuel.
I just stored mine 3 weeks ago. This is what I do, but others may do differently. Add air to the tires (to about 40 PSI) install battery tender and don't start till you are getting it out of storage. I also fill the tank with NON Ethanol Premium Gas and usually change the oil, but mine only has 300 miles on it so I did not change it. Coat of wax and cover it up.

Battery tender and you should be good to go. I don't sweat the other things... I've never had any issues w/fuel, oil, or flat spots. If flat spots occur, then they disappear as soon as the tires heat up. That being said, it'll certainly wouldn't hurt following GM's recommendations.
I agree w/other posters, don't start it once a week... excessive wear, moisture, etc.

I have been storing toy cars for decades. I wash it, drive it for a short time to make sure the brakes are dry then park it and put the battery on a tender. I have never had an issue with this method. In my opinion anything else is not necessary.
In the Spring, I check the tire pressure, remove the tender and wash then drive.
