Looks like the Z06 would be slightly faster if both people could shift worth a $hit. About what you'd expect if the ZL1 s dragging around another 300LBS.

I don't think so. I know when left in drive and track mode the A8 shifts itself ridiculously fast. I can't see how the new 10 speed would be good enough to make up the difference in weight and aerodynamics. I do think an A10 ZL1 will surprise many manual Z06 cars though.
I know how everyone loves to pretend because they drive stick they are driving gods but all my experience shows usually it's missed gears and excuse making lol

I wouldn't care if they put 1000 hp in a Camaro.....it is STILL a Camaro. I've had Vettes my whole life and while there were many cars faster than mine.....I had a Corvette.

I am glad the 6th gen Camaro is such a hit for Chevy.

Have you seen the Nurburgring video of the A10-equipped ZL1? I'd say the A8 has nothing on that tranny.

No doubt the A10 will do the same.

First of all if I wanted to buy a Ferrari I would have. Considering I've purchased new every generation from the C2 to the Present C7 I am a CORVETTE guy. I have Driven MANY Ferrari's as my brother has had about a 1/2 dozen of them including the one he has now a F430 Spider. I PREFER CORVETTES and there is NOTHING LAME ABOUT THAT. We were talking about the speed of the Camaro vs the Z06...I said I could care less about how fast it was....fact is the HELLCAT would clean both their clocks ....I prefer to drive a Corvette. And, if you find that insulting or me having a shitty attitude SO BE IT.

I'm asking you or guest's hear 'do more gears equate to a faster car?
I don't mean a 2 speed to an 8 speed. Does a 10 speed trans make the car faster than a 8 speed? And why.

Now the reason I would like to see an A8 VS an A10 ZL1 is I assume since GM developed the A10 for the ZL1 and decided to use that instead of the A8 there must be some performance gains. At least one would hope.
