Ok, so I found my first real substantial complaint with my C7. The seats! After about 30 min of driving, my back is killing me. Anyone else have this issue? I have the GT seats for clarification.
If you haven't taken your wallet out, do so! I had a three hour drive home from the dealer where I bought mine and my wallet damn near crippled me in the first hour.
No issue with my wallet. Pretty much empty since I bought the car!
I think this is really a function of one's body shape. At 6'2" and a relatively skinny rear-end at 180 lbs, I find them to be among the most comfortable car seats I've ever had. I have the standard 2LT touring seats.
I have lower back issues too, but I've done many fuel full to empty, non-stop, road-trip stints w/ no lower back pain.
That's what I'm finding. I am 5' 11" and 200lbs, but my shoulders are broad. What I feel like is instead of being hugged by the seats, I actually sit "on top" of the side bolsters at my shoulders. There is a gap between my back and the front of the seat.
i keep hoping that I'll be able to wear them in a little after a few thousand miles. Kind of like a new pair of sneakers 😂

I feel your pain. I've had my C7 for about 4 months now and up until this past Saturday, when I took a road trip to the track, about 6 total hours sitting in the car. I had been loving the seats compared to my 2012. Now I miss them like crazy, my gripe is that the C7s seats just don't recline back enough for me. Kind of my fault for not sitting in one before I bought one

Funny, small things make a difference for me as well.
Wife had a Honda Accord 25 years ago that had a fixed lumbar support and no matter how I adjusted the seat in 10 minutes of driving my back was in pain. I had to add a support pad in the bottom cushion to seat back intersection. Saw similar Honda's with rolled-up towels etc in that area! Wrote to Honda-no response. Sold it in 1 year!
My C7 is perfect but I spent time adjusting the seat, lumbar and wing adjustments. I have the front up, rear down and back tilted. My back can tell instantly when the lumbar support is set correctly or with excessive support.
The wife has a 2 year old BMW X5 SUV with the top of the line interior; bottom cushion extensions and lots of seat adjustments. On our 1st long drive I could not get comfortable. No matter where I set the lumbar support it hurt! Was concerned. Took some time to fine the right settings but now it's as good as the C7, which I consider perfect. As with the Vette I have the front cushion up and the back tilted somewhat more than perhaps most folks.
Guess I'm just too used to my leather recliner where I sit at night!

No problem here and this is the first car where, without exception, every person who rides in the car says how comfortable the seats are. Never had a car that was like that. It is almost a joke because that is the first thing my riders say when they sit down.
At 5'10",153lbs and lacking in the rump department, I could use a bit more cushioning, but the general shape is good for me.
This summer, I went for a quick 8 hour trip, crashed on a couch for about 6 hours, spent about 4 hours with the family, then drove the 8 hours back home without any discomfort.
Matter of fact, the 16 hours in the car was the most comfortable, and satisfying part of the 26 hour adventure.

At 5'8" & 165 lbs the seats feel great to me. However, I could see where people who are larger, especially across the shoulders could have a problem with the seats.
When I first drove the my 14 vette for a test drive I noticed improvements over the c6 seats immediately. I have the GT seats as well, and they fit good. Longest trip thus far has been only 1.5 hours so no real Long trips to report
