Is this a good price?
Sold my 2007 Corvette Convertible last year and miss it too much. I have a chance to purchase a new 2016 Z06 3LZ Convertible Automatic Long Beach Red with Spice Red package for $81,500. Is this discount good enough to not get the 2017 or should I hold out for a bigger discount? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

1 of 57 produced? Nice car. Good price. Youll pay more for less in end if you skip this one. Just my $.02

what's the BIG hurry?
if you have any qualms why buy it? imo still too much.
if you live in the NE it will sit in your garage any way. the LONGER you wait the lower the prices will go. they are ALREADY discounting GS's.
CHECK forum dealers like KERBECK weekly.
ps you'll miss the roominess inside the C6 that's for sure.

Minus 19.90% back of MSRP a 2017? You have my blessing, FWIW.

Absolutely good deal. No question.

If that is not the lowest price you could get it for, then it is darn close to it. Get it if that is what you want.

"In honor of jpee"
So, a dealer is actually holding the car until tomorrow (Friday) without selling it if someone walks in and says, "Here's some cash!".

20% off seems to be what remaining 2016s are selling for. I would say buy it ONLY if it is exactly what you want. No point is saving all of that money if you would (for example) prefer a blue one with manual transmission.
For me, I could have bought a leftover 2016 3LT for a huge discount, but I don't need all of the features, and happy enough with a 2017 1LT that cost less, net. And it's a year newer. That's important to me because I flip cars often. If you plan to keep it forever, then buying a year-old car doesn't really matter.
HTH.
