Pre drilled holes in the skirts. Followed them and drilled up into the rocker panel and used a rivet gun to secure the skirts to the body. Super simple install.
just installed my side skirts today. Before you guys ask about the chrome stingrays they are going to be replaced with black emblems soon. What do you guys think? Mods so far include z06 rep wheels, stinger stripe, wrapped roof and halo, drilled rotors, wrapped retainer in grill, tints, and finally skirts. Final mod will be full length spoiler which should arrive next week. Pretty big transformation in only 3 months of ownership.
Your mods look great and have really transformed the car. Did you install the hood and roof stripes or did you have someone do them for you? What's the material, color, etc.?

Hi thank you. I had a professional vinyl wrap shop install the hood, roof, and halo stripe for me. They used 3m black metallic to match the carbon flash trim on the car.
Mine just arrived from C7 also...with the silver rivets. Are they sending out black ones free or did you have to order them on your own?
I did NOT use the aluminum rivets provided..... I bought a bag of PLASTIC Scrivets on Amazon for a nominal cost. The front 2 screws from the car are used, as are the rear screws. Instead of riveting with the alum pop rivets, I chose the scrivets as they are much more easily removed.
As it turned out for me, that was a good thing as GM Engineering bought our 2016 Stingray back and we got a '17 Grand Sport. I liked the C7 Carbon GTX skirts so well, I removed them from the '16 Stingray, and reinstalled them on the GS. Only had to use a plastic trim tool to remove the plastic scrivets I did use NEW scrivets when installing again on the GS. All good !

I really like that idea. Would you mind posting a link to the product on Amazon? Hopefully it still shows up as an available item from your past purchases. :-) I did a search for them myself, but none came up that matched yours and I also don't know what size to buy.

Thank you so much!
Here you go...... they are 1/4" diameter shaft. The head on them is about the size of a nickel. Compare the diameter of the shaft to your drill bit. I went a little smaller on the drill bit, so I had to really push hard on them in with my thumb to insert..... didn't want them loose. Worked perfectly !!!!
