Anyway last night I was opening and closing the door for the wife. after about the third time she ask why I was opening the door for her are you afraid that I might put a finger print on your baby. She then said I was crazy. How many of you guy/gals dont like fingerprints on your car.

Fingerprints ? Geeze ............
There are worse things in life to worry about. Like, what brand of toilet paper can I bring home the s/o won't complain about .............. "Damn it ......... You bought John Wayne toilet paper again . . . . . It's rough, tough and, wont take sh*t off anyone !"
I only have problems with fingerprints left on blued steel and Japanese swords.
I'll open doors for most ladies, and will even hold it open for you if you're not too far behind.
Wife usually has door open and ready to get out before I can get around to that side of the car. Fingerprints are not a problem for me, I usually find them anyway on the car after coming back to it because some passers-by feel they just have to touch it. I'm more concerned when we're at a cruise-in or other car event and park next to someone else's car - that's when I ask her to wait and I'll help her open the door and guard it against it possibly getting away (wind, bump etc) and striking the car next to mine. If that happened, I would think that could be an interesting conversation with the other owner.
I don't think this guy is going to worry about fingerprints if he going to let it set outside in that type of weather. He may be lucky to get the door open on the car in that ice rain weather.

The family has gotten a lesson on how to get in and out of my black car without fingerprints. Everyone else -- male or female -- thinks I'm a gentlemen since I open the door for them.
