Default Corvair tires on the C7

That's exactly what I mean. I go to the dealership and look at the new C7'S and every time I see those skinny tires I wonder why not wide tires like those on the C6 GS. Maybe I'm wrong, but the car would look more badass with wider tires. I love the look of my C6 with the tires it came with. Any C7 owner feel the way i do? Just curious. And please, don't interpret this as being disrespectful.

Every model has a certain price point, cost and profit margin GM is aiming for.

Skinny tires? What C7 are you looking at?

Do these look like 10 inch tires to you?

In any case, your point is understood. Fact is that the 'skinny' tires of the 'base' C7 have been designed to equal or exceed the performance of those wider C6 Z06 tires.

Win-win.

I feel the new GS would look sooooo much better with 12" tires. Just my opinion. I think my Ford Escape has 10" tires on it.

I think the GS does in fact have 12 inch tires to fill up those wider rear-quarter panels. The base and the Z51 models have the 10 inch wheels.

The problem you have is although the C7 has narrower tires and weighs more it happens to corner better than the C6 GS.

Haven't seen the new GS. But I did see the Z06 and the tires look like the 10" size.

Then my C6 GS must have 16" tires, because they look wider than the C7 Z06 tires.

Default Sno tires

When I bought my '17 GS the salesman said that the skinny 13.1" wide rear tires where engineered to slice down through the snow for excellent traction.
