Typo on Window sticker

I don't even have a convertible, but my brother-in-law does. I was with him when he took delivery of the car and there was a lot of confusion over how to operate the top with the fob. The guy doing the dealership delivery briefing with my b-in-law didn't know how the fob remote top operation worked, but finally figured out that you are only able to open the top with the fob - but not able to close it.
When trying to close/raise the top they kept trying the fob, but of course there's no "remote operation" to close the top. They finally figured that out and closed the top with the button on the dash - but IIRC even that was problematic until they figured out they needed to start the car.
So....I don't know why they're so proud of something that has a very limited capability.
I read on the forum about the SmarTop, which gives REAL remote operation of the top. I got one for my b-in-law and took it up to him in Virginia when my wife and I went up for a family Thanksgiving. We installed it and it really does give actual, real, functional remote operation - both opening and closing the top from the fob.
My b-in-law loves it!! He doesn't need to start the car (or put it ACC mode) and sit in there pushing the dash button for the entire operation to close the top. He doesn't need to hold any button (either the fob or the one on the dash) the whole time the top operates, and it opens his windows when the top is opened, and closes the windows when he raises the top.
Bottom line - I don't know why GM is so proud of the "remote operation" to only open the top by holding the fob button the whole time it operates. I don't know why you need to buy an aftermarket unit to make the "remote operation" the way it should have been from the factory!!!

Here's a thread about the SmarTop - it's a long thread, so you need to go down to about post# 40 or 50 to see where forum members start to take delivery of them and make reports about it:

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS PULL THE CHIP AND DISABLE THE SMARTTOP MODULE (Function 1 Setting 0) BEFORE TAKING THE CAR TO A DEALER FOR SERVICE!
The "chip" refers to a module plugged into the OBDII port.

No mention of CONVERTIBLE at that point on the sticker.
