Does Z07 Stage 3 include Stage 2 winglets
If one orders the Z07 option and the stage 3 areo, does are the stage 2 winglets included?
While the stage 3's are fine for track use, the stage 2's would appear to be better -less resistance-...
Thanks.
Splitter: Stage 2 includes the shorter winglets. Stage 3 includes the taller winglets that also attach to the front fender wells.
Rear Spoiler: Stage 2 includes the taller extension pieces/winglets. Stage 3 adds the center bridge piece/wicker bill.
But I think you're probably talking about the front splitter end plates - is that correct??
To my knowledge, Stage 2 and 3 cars are shipped with the Stage 2 front splitter end plates installed on the car. And the Stage 1 or 2/3 rear spoiler extensions may be shipped inside the car for installation during PDI.
If you get a Stage 3 car, I believe the Stage 3 front splitter end plates, and the Stage 3 clear wicker bill for the rear spoiler, are in the car for installation during PDI.
With my 2016 with Z07, I did delivery at the Nat'l Corvette Museum and the Stage 2 front splitter end plates were on the car. When the NCM does PDI for a Z07 they do not install the Stage 3 end plates on the front splitter.
I'm not sure how the Stage 1 or 2/3 rear spoiler extensions come from the factory - because my Stage 2/3 spoiler extensions were not "stuck" on the spoiler, i.e., they didn't have the red protective tape removed from the sticky part, so they weren't stuck on the spoiler. I believe that's how the NCM puts them onto the spoiler, so I suspect all spoiler extensions come inside the car to be put on during PDI.
Bottom line - if you're talking about the front splitter end plates, yes - you will get the Stage 2 small ones and Stage 3 long ones. If a dealer puts the long Stage 3 ones onto the car during PDI, make sure you get the small Stage 2 ones and their mounting screws (which are different from the Stage 3 screws).
I would also get ahold of your dealer and tell them to NOT stick the rear spoiler extensions onto the spoiler - leave the red protective tape on so the extensions only bolt on, and are not stuck on.
I got some Stage 1 rear spoiler extensions for my Z07 for when running high speed track events or straight line events, and I can easily swap back-n-forth for more or less downforce/drag by just unscrewing the bolts to remove one set and screwing on the other set - no problems pulling the very strong adhesive loose.
The NCM had also glued the rubber grommets onto the clear wicker bill. I've read here on the forum of cases where owners have lost the grommets, and getting something to replace them is problematic - GM doesn't sell them separately, and to find an oval rubber grommet of the correct size is hard to do.

, you are absolutely correct. My question was focused on the front, splitter, winglets.
I think I recall a thread where this was mentioned. I did a search and could not locate the thread in question; if it even exists... My memory, such that it is no longer, seems to suggest that there are two splitter winglets. The shorted, stage 2, and the taller, stage 3.

I believe the Stage 2 short ones come on the car from the factory, and the dealer installs the Stage 3 long ones during PDI.
If the dealer does install the long Stage 3 ones, make sure they give you the Stage 2 ones and mounting hardware.

I'm looking at a forum dealer leftover Z06/Z07 and needed/wanted to know about the splitter winglets so that should they and I close the deal, I could verify the stage 2 winglets were there.
