I go through the garage every day to get into the house, and I invariably always give my C7 a second look, sometimes even a third. She is just gorgeous and brings me joy just looking at her. When I can get inside of her and take her for a ride (hey no dirty thoughts allowed) that is when I really appreciate her.
I check on my garaged 14 vert every morning before I go to work and every afternoon when I get home. Living in South Carolina, my driving season is a bit longer than most, but the car still sits in the garage for several weeks during the winter...
One of my neighbors told me that the Vette was a Phallic symbol. I said, but when I'm driving it's like being in a warm, comfortable............(put your own ending here)

It's supposed to hit 60 here today so I'm going to drive to Calistoga to have lunch.
That would be a pretty drive. Here we have no shortage of incredibly beautiful roads, but with temps trying to break 40f, the car is sitting in the garage, dirty from the last rainstorm I drove through...
Been there done that. Pull up a chair in the garage, turn on the stereo and sit and look at the vette while drinking a glass of merlot. Study all the curves and think about what it's capable of.
I typically go out to garage every evening before going to bed to make sure everything is closed up and get one more look at that fantastic car.
You are not weird but I think I have a cure for your malady...
Move to Florida and drive year round and most of the time with the top down.

My wife and I visited Florida a couple of years ago. We decided that there were way too many people living in Florida. The traffic was absolutely hideous. JMO.
I am glad that I live where we can drive them all year round. I would have a really hard time putting it away for the winter and not being able to enjoy them. Winter is actually the best time to drive my 1973 Big Block Roadster. The rest of the year is for the 2016 ZO6. Arizona is a great place to drive with twisty mountain roads and flat desert highways. The best of both worlds.
Just bought a new 2016 sight unseen had it shipped and delivered in a blizzard. It now sits in my garage. I have never driven it and I will have to wait till may to be able to take it out. It's going to be a long winter .😡
Living in Florida I can take My vette out most anytime I want but there are times
whenI am sitting in the house and I just go out to the garage and sit in My lil roll
around stool and admire her...go ahead call it a sickness....I don't care ...and I do
have a lovely wife so that's not it....!
Well I don't cover my car for a reason....Every time I go to the trash I get to look at it
I too find myself taking out the trash and recyclables, to the garage, much more frequently.
And I will admit to opening the door to look at it, most nights, when locking the doors before bed.

That is really, really tough! When I found myself in a similar situation, I was able to pass the winter spending part of every evening on forums such as this, learning all about the car and watching as many videos as I could find. Especially those, like PDRs, that put the viewer in the driver's seat.
I started researching and planning for possible future mods.
Spent a lot of time planning and creating the itinerary for my first road trip / vacation in the new car .
I also spent a ton of time creating and organizing my music library on the computer and loading all on USB drive.
I even knew which songs would be playing as I hit the highway on ramp on my way home from the dealership.
Its all part of the experience.Fortunately for me, here in the northeast, our winters end in March.
Instead of going to the garage, I just pop up the sexy pictures on my computer to look at (the Z6 I'm talking about, lol.) I guess it's my 1st year infatuation with the car. I wonder if next Winter I'll have the same detachment issue I'm going through now?!
Like all previous posters, I love my C7. Its parked in my basement garage. I see it every time I go to the basement which also houses many toys and projects. It took a year before I quit saying WOW out loud when I walked down the stairs. I have a cover for it, it sits in a corner all balled up. I can't seem to make myself cover the C7. The C4, easy peasy.
