Scotchguard?
MY dealer is pushing a paint and carpet and seat protectant for $600.
Is this any good?

don't do it, waste of money.
now, if he offers rust protection on the plastic parts, definitely sign up for that

I did all 4 floor mats and had leftover stuff in the can to do another set.

No, no, 600 times no. The seats have a protective coating so no need for Scotch Guard unless you has the suede, but check to make sure it's safe to apply. So, buy the Scotch Guard, and a quality wax for about 25 bucks. Pick a nice day, and enjoy working on your baby yourself. Merry Christmas.

Leave it on the table until they give you the final price and then decline it. They may adjust the price assuming they will make some of their profit with the useless Scotchgard crap.

Reminds me of a new car we bought and AFTER the agreed to price and ready to sign there was a ~$500 charge for paint protection AND theft protection that was already etched in the corner of all the glass!
I refused to pay the $500! That took a discussion with the sales manager. But it was a simple discussion, I just got up and was walking out, without saying much and got the car without it!
