What did you do to your C7 today?

Melting Slicks
Went for a ride, we have such great road in East TN and West NC. Headed over to Tellico and across the Cherohala Skyway. Drive over the Skyway was great, never had a car in front of me so I could run a very fun pace. Those 25 mph curves are great at 55 mph. Then I stopped and had lunch at Deals Gap. I took the Dragon back to TN. Three times I caught up to slow traffic, once a van, who got over quickly, then two bikes that got over quickly then a pick up that took a bit of convincing to get over. All in all it was a great drive and day. First time with this 18 going that loop, have done it several times in the 14.

Installed a trunk partition and 3 bin cargo net to keeps things from sliding around in the back....Added benefit is that the trunk partition seems to have reduced road noise coming from the hatch area without obstructing view out rear window....

Drove it to church.
In the middle of the sermon, an alarm went off outside so I along with a couple of my friends went outside to see whose car it was. Never could figure out which car alarm had gone off because by the time we were approaching the lot, it had stopped and nobody was in sight.
So of course instead of going right back in to hear the rest of the sermon, we stood around my Little Blue Vette checking it out and talking about cars for awhile.

You do know that the alarm will turn off in ~ two minutes?
You could actually have made it back inside in time for communion.

Hmmm....as I recall, it only went off for less than one minute. And I was going to go right back in, but it was a gorgeous day out and they made me stay outside and, well...

Safety Car
Quick detail before it hits 94. (Pretty unusual for May in MN)

This thread used to have almost a daily post made, almost two weeks have gone by. Nothing like warmer weather so that everyone can go driving.
I installed some side stripes and Stingray lettering yesterday. Not the greatest pictures, install was a little easier than I was anticipating. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I love how it breaks up the slab of color. Perfect match to the the fender hash marks.
