Apple CarPlay
When I bought my Grand Sport desided not to get NAV as found my Garmin just as good (or better) and I have free updates. Saved money and bought a 2LT as no need for NAV and was not happy they reduced the amount of Mulan synthetic leather from my Kalahari 2014 3LT.
A forum poster suggested putting the Garmin in the Cubby! Built a device to keep it in place and it has worked fine for months. However my Samsung Cell phone failed and they "could not fix" the WiFi connection! Bought an iPhone 7 Plus. Just connected the Apple CarPlay. Great feature, the OEM screen looks similar to my iPad when the phone is connected!
The MAPS app fills the whole screen, similar to NAV in my 3LT. The voice commands are clear. Can just tell Siri where I want to go!
A big advantage is the screen size. However, compared to the Garmin that connects to satellites it requires Cell phone towers and in some areas we have poor reception. I'll keep both but where there is cell phone service Apple CarPlay will be used. I'll also use it to diaplay speed limits were I am driving.
This is a PDF of my Garmin install with more details of Apple CarPlay: http://netwelding.com/GPS_In_Cubby.pdf
Below are some pics.

I replaced the "chrome" lugnuts with Mcgard's black chrome, so now EVERYthing external is black... I feel like Batman leaving the Batcave when going down my driveway, hehehe.

I just don't get it. In less time than it took you to type the question, you could have found the answer instead of typing it and waiting and hoping he was going to answer (which he didn't).
