Just prior to my engine pull, i added the hood decals and accented the vents a little.

Not really for the Corvette, but I signed up for the Corvette Owners School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort & Country Club.
Will be attending next April!

I surprised myself, because I actually liked the side vent accents. Reading your description, I thought "Meh" but then I saw the pic and really liked it.

eta: I think I like the hood accents even better than the traditional fender ones. Whooda thunk?

It's just enough accent between the two to make it pop, the vents took me about 20 minutes same with the decals.
I also took some fabric dye and dyed all my stitching red.

Probably in the near future, ran out of funds. Doing a complete changeover. New top end including AFM delete,cam,springs, valves etc with a billet bottom end,cryogen and blockwork.
