Nice 65degreed day here in NC. Took the Z out for a 100 mile top down cruise. Dam, the car is a lot of fun, best bang for the buck on the planet.

Added factory splash guards and Block-it noise reduction. First items on the long list I created. This forum isn't helping tame the desire.

Then I blacked out the chrome strip on the grill. Used Dupli Color "wrap" in metallic black. Looks similar to carbon flash. Opted to not add gloss coat due to mixed reviews. Yeah, I know. I need to fix the paint chip in on the beak. Paint on order.

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong thread to ask. I did search around to no avail. Has anyone painted the chrome bezels around the instrument cluster? Feels like they're just press on with clips. I'm tempted to hit 'em with carbon flash or something. TIA

I drove mine to work today! It's cause for celebration up here as it's not often I get to drive a Corvette to work in January. It was just below the freezing mark when I left my house at 7am (but it's almost 40F now) I was worried that in my 12 mile drive under these cold temps that the oil wouldn't get up to temperature but I was happy to see that about 75% of the way there the oil was already up to 190 and it settled there for the rest of the drive. My LS2 in my C6 would only get up to about 180 by the time I got to work in cold weather.
We've got two more days in the 40s here, so I'll be putting on more miles this weekend! I've got a friend coming over to help me lower it tomorrow so I'll be back in here on Sunday to post the pictures of the results. I love this car!!

You're right Bro!
I also added GM extended splash guards. Next adder will be the skirts, have them in the garage, waiting for warmer weather to paint them carbon flash
Here is the proof IT HAPPENED!
