I'm glad everyone is ok. When I got my Z06 and after I had waited until I had gone past 500 miles, I took my wife of many years for a ride and did a 3/4 launch on a nice straight road. All I heard was "Oh Sh*t!!! and she hasn't asked to drive it ever!

This story brings back a family memory. Years ago my brother worked for a Chevy dealership selling cars. He had a new Z/28 all loaded up for a demo. His wife drove the thing straight over a concrete median taking down all the steel posted traffic signs along the 100' journey. He said a lot of smoke came out. Amazingly they didnt fire him.

oooph. i really don't like to let anyone drive my vettes. i would feel bad wanting to KILL them if they did that lol...
accidents happen. my mother just hit someone in the back at a stoplight because her foot slipped off the break in her car.. things happen. that's why i like to keep deductibles at $200 also...

Some people get hurt while others come out without a scratch. He was taken to the hospital for a gash on his head released within an hour. I posted this thread because my BIL was a dumb azz because he let a strange girl drive and she f**k up.
