I just installed my full length spoiler using 3m double tape. It seems to sit on the car really well and doesn't move. Is this safe? Will it fly off? I don't want this spoiler ending up in someone's windshield.

I've read on here about other people doing tape only installs, I think you'll be fine. Of course, I don't think those people are rushing to the Internet post how their taped on parts went winging off into the car behind them either.
had one of those GTS plastic air foils on my Iroc back in the day, at the top of the rear window. used the tape prepped well. lasted a year. but that was 25 years ago lol...
i think if you check it once in a while you'll have the answer to your question. it isn't going to just be on and then gone. it will loosen over time, probably the 3/4 towards edge are then edge so forth. but that's on a car left outside and subjected to the weather. doubt you'll have an issue
The thing you did right was use 3M. I've used this body side molding tape for years and, trust me, your spoiler isn't going anywhere. In fact once it's on there for a while it will be extremely hard to remove.

I bought it on eBay for only $148 painted and shipped... Paint sucked who I got it resprayed but the seller paid for it which was great. I'll pm you the link.
For wings and such I always recommend 3M VHB that stuff if applied properly will be rock solid. Used it on a spoiler on my old C5, and I could probably grab the wing and yank the whole bumper off before the wing came off.
