Seat back removal
Can the hard seat backs in a C7 with comp style seats be removed without removing the seat or disturbing the air bag? I tried to install seat covers on the seat but could not fish the center flap through seat fold over. Seat back extends down to bottom of seat making fishing the flap and strings very difficult.

I was able to do this with my Comp seats without taking them apart. I did have them unbolted from the floor and sitting outside of the car, though. I was able to push the flap between the seat and backrest sections to anchor the backrest cover.

I think I just fixed mine too. I removed all of the screws and put rubber washers around them before screwing them back in. That's a trick I used in the past for things like rattling fans, the rubber washers take some of the stress off the plastic.
