Default My first mods

They are minor but I'm still pumped about them :

1. Bin Buddy - Actually does have some value. I've been able to fit more stuff in to the bin in an orderly way. So, with me being a neat freak, it's a win.

2. Carbon fiber license plate - I consider this my CF 'starter kit'.

Black Corvette valve stems - Why Chevy sells the C7 with those cheap grey caps is beyond me, considering the cost of the car.

3. Cargo Pocket mesh net - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Because... sliding stuff is no good.

4. LED lights for cargo and license plate - Although I've yet to put them in. I tried putting them in the cargo area and when I put in one side, the other side light went out and the one I replaced didn't come on so I yanked it. I have Philips 194 LED 12 volt

5. Protekt Skip Plate - http://www.corvetteonline.com/tech-s...0-looking-new/

This went on very easily and I'm very happy about the peace of mind when i hear the scraping sounds now. No more grimace-face... For the cost, it's a big win.

I had the car up on a lift for the install and it was novel to see how flat the under side surface is.

NEXT UP :

I have the Carbon fiber grill insert on order and it should be here in a wee or so :

http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-1...-stingray.aspx

And my next order is the carbon flash badge kit from West Coast Corvette

The LED lights are polarity sensitive. Just reverse it in the socket 180 degrees.

Default First mods...

Good for you! Soooo many things to do. A wise man once told me that mods come at a 2:1 ratio. The money you spend on the car, spend twice on the wife, girlfriend, or significant other. I say that and im divorced, go figure

Cool 1st mods. Does the Protekt Skip Plat work with a front spoiler in case you want to upgrade in the future?

So, the skid plate is cut to the shape of the bumper underside so I think adding a splitter wouldn't be to far off. The existing holes were used with the exception of 2 new holes that were needed. That would have to be considered if adding a splitter. However removing the skid plates is just a simple matter of unscrewing them.

I didn't buy it thinking of a splitter in the future. The company would probably be the authority on that question:

http://www.protektskidplates.com/contact.html

The owners has been great about answering my question so you should ask him. His name is Mitch and he's been super responsive to me.
