Differential clunk
I once owned a Pontiac Solstice and those cars have the exact same noise and clunk in a tight turn when cold. On the Solstice, it is, apparently, a problem that warranty paid for at the time.
Here's what the dealer did to mine. They changed the differential oil with the correct type of GM fluid required. The noise was still there. The factory reps told the dealer to put about 50 miles on the car and change the fluid again. Warranty would pay for the first change, but not the second. The dealer performed the second fluid change and that fixed everything. No more noise or clunk. Yes, I did have to pay for the second change.
My question is: Has any Corvette owner changed the fluid a second time? Has it worked?
Thanks for the responses.
