Not long, judging from the Phillip's head indentation.
It doesn't take long for a screw-head to wear completely off. Now the question is whether you can find someone to properly patch/plug a hole that close to the sidewall. In my experience, that can be repaired properly if you only street drive. NO way I would take that high-speed, though.
Working my way around the car changing the brakes (and really looking at the tires) both right sides were fine, but got to the left front this morning, and check this out. So both left sides are injured. No construction in our area.
Get a pair of needle nose plyiers on them and pull them out, do this right beside a tire shop, it they didn't go through, drive home, if they did, plug em up.

Don't track all that often, but one never knows about high speed. One random Mustang could force me towards that in a heartbeat.

She's up on jacks at the moment, I would like to know how long both are.
Firestone turned me away, they couldn't pull the tire off the rim. Said their low-profile machine wasn't strong enough.
I'm sure it depends on the shop. We had a Goodyear shop in town that I used for a flat in my C6 but they went out of business. They were good but currently this Firestone dealer, who does much more than tires is the only option. They have the best touchless equipment but only 2 or 3 of their techs do wide, low profile run flats.
We have a new Discount Tire that just moved into town, plan to stop and see about their equipment and capabilities are. Many posters give hm high marks. Nice to have an option and have seen posts where they will plug/patch a nail in the outer tread if it is not close to the sidewall. When I get the GS with those large outer treads don't want to buy a new tire when it's not necessary.
I have a problem with buying tires when I'm about to get rid of the wheels in favor of large wheels, but... I need something to drive on!
Fortunately, ebay comes to the rescue with a pair of Pirelli P-Zero 285/30/20 slightly used, never repaired for $240 shipped. Now, to find a place to can actually mount them...

If there is enough life, I would patch it yourself.
If not, see if a used store has some tires that would fit. That way you are set until you need all new.
I picked up a piece of metal that left a pinky sized hole in my tire at 300 miles! Drove home on the run flat. Used a $7 tire plug kit . I did not think it would work given the size of the hole. So I doubled up the black plug material and glue. I was only hoping to get enough life to drive around while I ordered a new tire. 17k miles later and one track day tire is still going strong!! I would not recommend it to anyone. But I am amazed what I got away with. My tire shop would not patch it and was amazed when I showed up months later on the same tire lol.

I've done this as well for a relative that had a massive gash... I told him to not drive on the highway and to use this time to go get a new tire...
3 weeks later i asked him... and he was still running it... a couple of weeks later, he got new tires! I was amazed that it even held air !
