Yenko did 37 (approx.) Novas in 1969. They were SS396 cars that were converted to 427's. In 1970 there were 175 Yenko "Deuce" Novas built with a COPO LT-1 350 from the Corvette/Z28. I own one of the 25 Forest Green ones.
I saw a "Yenko Nova" (roughly a '69 to '71 model based on the looks of the body) for sale on one of those classic car web sites........but I honestly never knew there was such a thing.
They are known for the Camaro and perhaps a rare Chevelle -- so why not a Corvette too?
P.S. FWIW, Don Yenko has passed away just like Caroll Shelby - but the nostalgia behind the name will probably live on for many years to come.
That '69 Vette was a Yenko sold car, but didn't have any special Yenko tuning or modifications, as Yenko never offered any "sYc" package on Corvettes. I know that car well, as well as the current owner and previous owners. It's a super original car that is a true survivor.
