PROGRAMMING YOUR CORVETTE MEMORY SEATSteven,

We hope you are enjoying your 2016 Chevrolet Corvette. We've received feedback from some owners suggesting that there may be confusion about the driver's Memory Seat operation. The Memory feature comes with a default setting that may be uncomfortable or make it difficult to exit the vehicle. Please take a moment and program your optimal Exit and Driving positions using the Memory Seat function of your driver's seat.
TO STORE AN EXIT POSITION:Important: Program your Exit position immediately in order to ensure you can enter and exit your Corvette comfortably.1.While the car is on and in Park, adjust the seat, steering wheel and side-mirror controls to find your desired Exit position (such as steering wheel positioned up and forward and seat moved back, while avoiding contact with the rear bulkhead behind the seat).2.Press and release the "SET" button, located on the driver-side door. You should hear a single beep.3.Immediately press and hold the "EXIT" button until you hear two beeps.TO STORE A DRIVING POSITION:Note: Pre-set driving positions can be stored for two drivers.1.While the car is on and in Park, adjust the seat, steering wheel and side mirrors to find your desired Driving position, making sure to avoid contact between the seat and rear bulkhead (behind the seat).2.Press and release the "SET" button, located on the driver-side door. You should hear a single beep.3.Then immediately press and hold the "1" or "2" button until you hear two beeps.TROUBLESHOOTING:Please be aware that there is a time limit between releasing the SET button and pressing the 1, 2 or EXIT button. If you do not hear the two confirming beeps, simply repeat steps 2 and 3. If your seat begins to move unexpectedly, you can quickly stop the movement by pressing any of the seat, steering column, mirror controls (with the driver-side or passenger-side mirror selected) or seat memory SET button. For the seat controls to work properly, your driver's seatback must be "clicked" into its locked position. You should also remove any objects — anything from a backpack to a sweatshirt — that may be between the driver's seat and rear bulkhead (behind the seat). If you have any trouble with your seats, please watch this how-to video, refer to your owner's manual, contact your local dealer for help, or call Chevrolet at 1-800-222-1020.Now that you're seated perfectly behind the wheel of your Corvette, you can enjoy every straightaway and lean into every hairpin turn.NEED HELP?1-800-222-1020FIND A DEALERchevrolet.com/dealerlocatorThe marks of General Motors, its divisions, slogans, emblems, vehicle model names, vehicle body designs and other marks appearing in this document are the trademarks and/or service marks of General Motors, its subsidiaries, affiliates or licensors.
