Default Rainy daze

Let me start by saying that I love my C7 Corvette Stingray Coupe very much! I don't normally take it out on those rainy days But, I have been caught in some down pours. I typically crack the windows open on my other vehicles even during a light rain just for fresh air, but the curve of the roof on the Vette seems to funnel any water directly onto the passenger seat. Now, I keep the windows closed tight even in a sprinkle.

You have a great environmental system, never need to lower windows for fresh air.

I'm the same. Mine doesn't go out if it's raining. But if I'm out, and get caught in the rain I've found it just doesn't matter to me anymore. I traded a C6 that never saw the rain, and a C6 that did. No one ask about it either way. The only thing that matters now is the difference in the clean up time.

Beautiful car - who every does not like the C7 design - and yes the back lights- is missing out on a great looking car.

Your photo perfectly shows how the C7 doesn't need to be a wide body in order to look great.

That's funny. Our C6 never saw the rain until the day we pulled it out for trade in on the C7. It rained the entire 2.5 hour drive to the dealership. Got there and the rain stopped and the sun was out for the drive home with the new C7.

Nice looking car! Why is the area under the horizontal light strips on the rear body colored instead of black like the other C7's I have seen?

Well, Like I said It's a file photo,It might be the way the light is hitting the rear panel. Or it's color coded to match the rest of the paint. Mine is black which I kinda prefer, because it breaks up the sea of grey.

Six Corvettes over 27 years - more than 600,000 miles - all saw rain regularly, as do my C7 and my Ferrari.... they're cars and they handle great in the rain....
