longer screws
You do need 4 longer ones.
By the way,
I have some that I purchased from Ace hardware (hard to find) that I can send you. They look identical to the GM ones. Let me know if you need them and your address.
I also purchased the center lightly tinted wickerbill center piece from E bay for $159.00 It is a beautifull identical piece and every bit as good as the GM one. It also came with the 4 grommets.

Also, when you get the screws you need to think about how to use them. If you plan to permanently install the wickerbill in one position then I advise you to use some Locktite on the screws as the wickerbill flexes and can loosen them over time.
OTH, if you decide to take it off when not on the track as I do, then I recommend that you add some Anti-Seize to the threads to make it easier to install/remove. However, if you go this route I recommend that you have a Torx screwdriver handy to periodically tighten the screws.

Melting Slicks
The OEM bolts that I ordered (3 sets, 2 returned) all came chipped and really didn't look good. I went with the Amazon hardware and added black anodized washers. I like the look better actually, but definitely not for everyone. Replacing the 10 bolts and washers were right at $23 versus over $80 for GM's 4 bolts. The finish on my hardware is anodized and powder coating versus GM's paint.

Here's some of the longer bolts that I used on my 2017 Z06 to attach the center wickerbill bridge. Very close match to the now $120 GM bolts.

Melting Slicks
I ended up using the ones with the separate washers. Worked fine..
and the light tint wickerbill from ebay looks great. The biggest issue was getting the plastic gaskets they provide to stay in place. I used a dab of silicone and a toothpick to keep them in position while tightening the bolts.
