Shifter console painting/CF coating

I'm awaiting a new white Z51 w kalahari (2LT) and i would like to either carbon fiber coat (or paint carbon flash) the brushed aluminum only on the shifter console. I am replacing the aluminum wheel bezel with a CF bezel and want to eliminate the aluminum on the shifter console as well.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove just the brushed aluminum from the rest of the center console? I know plenty vendors sell a complete CF console but I dont want the entire console in CF (seems like overkill).

The aluminum is glued down. You can remove it, but it'll get destroyed doing so. You can tape it really well though, there are good tape lines on it.
