FUNNY. I was between a white one and the sterling blue. I saw it more as a cool (not warm) silver vs blue and really liked it. She absolutely loved it so that helped with the decision. Photos don’t really capture how the color adapts to how much brightness is applied or light is diffused. Very bright or dark conditions make the car more silver. Medium or indirectly lit conditions seem to bring more of the blue out.

Twilight blue design package
Here is my Sterling blue Stingray with the Twilight Blue interior. I love that this package comes with body color vents, which I think makes the car look less busy.

This is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. It’s very bright and sunny in that photo which kind of washes the blue away. If you told me it was blade silver, I would believe you.

Sterling blue
Carlisle Blue would be a MUCH better color! at least you can tell its "blue" in sunlight!

Sterling Blue grew on me over time. Especially on the Grand Sport with the Heritage Package. I wish it would have stuck around a little longer. I think either adding the Twilight Blue interior package or Jet Black with blue stitching helps pull it together. Not sure if the blue stitch was even available during the Sterling Blue production run.

They only made 900 or so. Doubtful it’s collectible but I’ve only seen one other and it was a GS.

That is one beautiful Corvette......the color, the wheels, the painted vents make this C7 really classy. Congratulations on a gorgeous C7.

OK Doug, maybe a Z06 will be worth something 50 years from now.
But check out what they sell for, just a few years old. The point I was trying to make in the next 10-15 years mass produced sports cars aren't going to hold there value and will not appreciate. This is based on past history.

3 weeks old tomorrow! I understand it is the least popular color with just 346 1LTs produced. Mine has grey interior and 7M,so it's is even rarer.

Very classy color. We were all set to purchase a C7 coupe in Sterling Blue. But then read GM discontinued the color due to low sales and backed off. Since I generally sell every 3-5 years it gave me concern it would be more difficult to find a new buyer.
I am easy to please on exterior colors. Ended up purchasing one in Admiral Blue but could of easily ended up with red or yellow and maybe even white.

I love my Sterling Blue Metallic. I like the fact there not a lot of them out there. That grey interior sounds nice. Mine is a manual also. Lots of fun shifting.
