I just order mine from vettestripes (mike). Awesome communication and delivery. My installer is placing them on tomorrow. I chose vettestripes because Mike utilizes the C7 emblem if you chose the Jake Racing Skull on top. Looking through photos and many corvette forum debates, the GM version does not pronounced the C7 eyes as much so that was a deciding factor for me. Mike also used great material.

Not sure about after-market, but the GM Carbon Flash Stinger Stripe (GM p/n 22989107) is actually painted and clear coated so you can wax, remove light scratches, etc.
