Default C7 stripes

I have a 16 Stingray Laguna Blue with the full length black strips. I need to know how you guys handle waxing with the stripes? Do I wax the stripes just like the car? I don't want to bump the sticker and tear it or something crazy like that. Also I went to my local xcel installer and he said since it has the stickers the overlap will raise up and maybe get yellow at the junction of the sticker/paint. I hope I'm making sense, just need to get ideas on how to handle these stripes I just had to have!
Thanks
Rob

I have not had any issues with any tearing. If you apply the wax as a very thin (emphasis on thin) coat on the stripes, you will leave hardly any residue at the edges. When you buff off the wax, give an extra wipe/buff or two at the edges to pick up any edge residue while it is still fresh. If you notice some later, I use detail spray and a soft bristle brush along the edges and it will come right off without lifting the edge.

I had Xpel installed on the front bumper. My installer actually cut the Xpel at the edges of the stripes so the Xpel would lay down properly on the paint and the stripes without a transition. Super steady hand and he looked like he had done it all his life.

You can wax over the stripes and treat them the same as you would the painted surfaces.
