Default 2017 on order

When GM picks up the order how long does it usually take to build the car? It's a 2017 Corvette 2 LT Watkins Grey auto.

Didn't you ask your dealer about how long they thought it would be?

Looks like they've been running about 4 to 5 weeks. Depending on your location, shipping could take a little longer.

They said about 2 months. Being from PEI,Canada they are just starting to build them for here. Won't ship them in the winter.

Okay thanks. Being from PEI,Canada might take longer but that's okay. The weather won't be nice to define untill May anyway. Besides I am in Florida where it's warm.

Once your order is picked up (i.e. your event code moves to 2000), figure on 3 - 4 weeks for production. That's quicker than it used to be. Up until recently the lag time was 4 - 6 weeks. Lower demand has helped speed things up.

3 weeks order to TPW
I put the order in with the dealer in Dec. But they dont ship Corvettes to Canada in the Winter and besides wouldn't be able to drive it anyway. So if I get it by May that will be fine.

The order for my 2016 Z-51 C7 was placed Saturday 6-27-15. Next on Saturday 8-22-15 i finally got the TPW of 9-14-15. It was built and was ready to be shipped on 9-17-15. It was 4 days later on Monday 9-21-15 it was here in New York at my dealer. WOW fast shipping. So it took 12 weeks from when i placed the order to when i picked up my C7. And yes it was a long 12 weeks but it was well worth it.
