Default Buffing

Your C7 looks great. The final operations will make it even better.

I'm lucky. I found a local Junior College student who is a car nut and is excellent at detailing, clay baring, buffing, sealing and everything. His complete service of all of the above costs $60, he needs the money. Had him do my Black coupe. Looks better than ever with 33000 miles on it. Gave him a $30 tip.

After you coat the paint with the ceramic 9H LDC, consider using the Adams Ceramic Boost to finish the project.

Wait 12 hours to apply the boost. I use the ceramic boost on all my sports and luxury cars.

Be sure to watch the video and read the entire text of the link.

You will be glad you used this product over the 9H LDC.

Figured id post some pictures with the ceramic applied. I might add a 2nd coat today to get that extra layer of protection, even though I'm really happy with how it is now

Those side skirts make the car IMO. It looks lower without being lowered....nice finish to the paint also!

Thank you, I agree on the side skirts. I bought them right after I bought the car

Sorry didn't mean to ignore you, I will be adding another coat of ceramic so I will not add anything yet. I do have some spray to go over the ceramic coating, its not an Adam's product though.

Fine job you did. This is something I really need to do to my car to get the little swirls and surface scratches off the car.

Thank you! Yes the swirls and fine scratches really make a big difference in the appearance of the paint, more then what people realize

Looks great!

I also purchased a used car, but had a pro do the paint correction and ceramic since XPEL Ultimate was also being installed after. FWIW, he did 3 coats of CQuartz Finest after the paint correction.

Agree, but like the clear coat layer, the ceramic layer can be be buffed to remove swirls, etc., and a little extra thickness should increase the longevity of the coating. Since you've already done all that work, an extra layer would be easy at this point.

Just a thought . . .

I am curious as to how much you paid to have a professional do your car?

About $1K for paint correction and CQuartz, and it was an extensive correction. It was a black car, all swirls were removed, and minor paint chips made to disappear. It looked better than new showroom floor C7s.
