my 2014 corvette screen is flickering, car is out of warranty, dealer is going to do a software up date,my questionis will that work?
Depends on the severity. Mine just flickered when the back-up camera came on. Software update fixed that. I believe some of the other issues people are talking about here had a more severe/constant flickering that drove the need for a new screen. Mine was not that severe. (Car built March 2014)
It will eventually going to be flickering all the time. Mine started little by little, sometimes I just turned off the car started again and it will be working fine. After like a month the screen turned black and flickering at the same time. Replaced still under warranty.

Guess I've been lucky. I had the software update October 20th and it worked fine after that. I presume the software update was for the HMI module. Then a month later I purchased a 2016 HMI module, radio receiver, and USB port so I could have Apple CarPlay, and still no screen flutter. The screen will probably go out after my warranty is up, but since I got the extended warranty, I'll just have to pay the deductible if it goes after April 24.
I had the infotainment screen replaced at nearly 2500 miles... the techs went through the process of the software update but it did not repair the flickering (like an old TV with a poor antenna reception). As stated, it was replaced and I have had no issues since the replacement.
Had mine replaced under warranty also. I asked my service guy if it happens again after my warranty expires, will they replace it? He says yes because I reported the issue during my warranty period, it should cover for the lifetime of the vehicle. Can somebody confirm this is true?
