There has to be a car out there that you like with the sport seats already in it. Keep looking and good luck.

They don't sit high enough to hold your legs in place when pulling high Gs. I heard the foam was a little stiffer in the Comp Seat but even if there is a slight height difference on with the thigh bolsters the only real difference is with the foam.

The back bolsters only or are the bottom bolsters adjustable too (where your legs are)?

Side bolsters of the backrest (GT or Comp seats) are only adjustable on 2LT or 3LT trim levels. The bottom side bolsters are not adjustable on any seat version.

Is is possible to do a seat swap with regular seats? I didn't know if the comp. seats required anything special to install over the regular seats.

And is there anyone on here that would want to make that swap with me?

I haven't bought the car yet, but I want to know if I can keep this option open.

Thanks.
I found that the base seats were too snug around my chest and shoulders. The comp seats were much better in that regard.

But, the comp seats have a firmer foam in the bottom seat and people have complained about pain in their thighs because of the hard bolsters.

The solution, as done by several owners, is to drill holes in the hard bolsters to soften them up somewhat.

That is the route that I would suggest.

I was able to sit in a set for a while and play with the adjustments. They are really not that bad at all. But I did notice the GT seat was softer. I think I prefer the GT seats, but wouldn't really mind the Comp. However, I have not driven for long stretches in the comp seats. Anyone have experience with that for hour or more of driving?

Been driving the heck out of the wife's GS with comp seats, including a 2hr trip, I have to say that I couldn't find anything to complain about the seats other than I found the heating option was not as hot as my C6. But the cooling effect is very noticeable and will be using that often. At 6'2", 250lbs I found a very nice seating arrangement and can easily stay in the car for hours more. Size 40 waist and still find the bolsters offer plenty of support without squeezing my manly dimensions.
When I get my C7 it'll have comp seats, and when available, I'll retrofit them in my C6.
