Default Nav update discounts
Anyone have a coupon code for Nav Update? I missed the yearend special they were running ($20 off and free ship). I have a 2014 Z 51 Coupe. Thanks is advance!

Just note that it takes almost an hour for the nav to do the update, and the car has to be running the entire time.

I think it can be in service mode. Hold start button for about 10 seconds with foot OFF the brake.

I just bought an update map for our Volt and after cruising the site a bit I got a pop-up with a free shipping code. You could always try that and see if it works for you too.

The very first instruction for installation: "Your vehicle must be turned on with the engine running during the entire installation period for the map update to install. Do not attempt to install this update in Accessory Power Mode".

Could be worse my Sync in my F250 took 3 hours to update. Thank god for two batteries.

He said "Service Mode" which is very different than "Accessory Mode".
