Try disconnecting the battery for about thirty minutes. That should set everything back to factory defaults. When you reconnect the battery wait about five minutes for everything to power back up before trying to start the engine (it will not start until everything comes on line).

I know this will sound dumb. I just had a friend have the same issue. I suggested they go to the light control on the left side of the steering wheel. They had inadvertinately turned it down while doing something in the same area.
