Hi all,
Went to a local dealer that had one leftover hoping that he would be in a dealing mood. No luck, he did not move from a price he quoted me one month ago. I'm in a little bind time wise and I would like to make a deal before Friday. I will be loosing my Loyalty rebate on that date due to sale of existing Vette. I'm looking for a Red, M7 with NPP. I quickly checked the "big three" dealers and didn't notice one. Any other dealers out there with a red one with the above options let me know.
Reeder Chevrolet in Knoxville Tn. has a number of new Vettes on the showroom floor'
It's about an 8 hour drive to Carlyle from here.
Not sure where you're located.
SALES: (865) 622-7813
Ask for Brian (sales manager)
Did you go through the Dealer Inventory Forum? Did you talk to anyone at the "big three"?
Maybe call someone like Mike Fuhrman at Criswell or Tommy at MacMulkin or Rick Conti at Coughlin, etc, and ask. If they don't have it they may be able to do a national search and try to find it and work a deal.
Bennett Chevrolet has a 2016 Z51 (with NPP), M7, 1LT, PDR/NAV, Torch Red......If they were smart they should accept an offer of 22% to 25% off of the MSRP...that car has been sitting on the lot for probably 8 months....it is a late 2016 production build......Might be worth the trip for you.
Thanks Ersatz,
Thats the kind of post I was hoping for. It's hard to believe that they are holding on to these cars like gold. I thought my dealer was bad at 14% off, your dealer is worse at only 9% off. I love the car though. I should give them a call.
Thanks Ersatz,

Have you looked at any used cars?
I was able to pick up a gently used 2016 last week with 16k miles. Sticker was 74500 so I felt like it was a great deal at 47500.
2LT, Z51, NPP, Magnetic Ride, Nav
Thanks Ersatz,

Make them an offer...let us know how it goes...I almost bought that one....for the "Bennett No Hassle Price of $57,500", you can go buy a 2017 Grand Sport from Kerbeck, a few miles down the road...

Here is another one that was on my list : 2016, Torch Red, Z51, 1LT, M7, PDR/NAV, MRC, Clear-Roof, Chrome Wheels, this one has probably been sitting on the lot since July or August 2015 (it is an early 2016 production VIN).

How much off MSRP are you expecting to pay to close the deal?

A left-over 2016 should sell for 22% to 25% off of the total MSRP.
I spent several months negotiating with several dealers within a 3 state radius and none of them would go over 20%. Some of them wanted more for a 16 that has been sitting on their lot for over 200 days than MacMulkin wanted on a new 2017.
The only one who agreed to 20%, I just did not love the color and options so I passed.
I ended up finding a used 2016 Z51 with the color and options I wanted for $47800. It had 2663 miles on it and still has the balance of 26 months on the number to bumper, and over 4 years on the powertrain.
Call Rick Conti, I'll guarantee he'll make you a price you can't refuse on this one. Even with paying a sipper to deliver it to your house, you will probably save money.
Along with these Tommy at MacMulkin, or Dave at Kerbeck will happy to help you. All of the forum dealers here have great reputations. Being in PA you are in a good location to use any of them.

Hey Mpuzach,
You must have missed my earlier post. The deal came out to 16% off msrp. Going by what our fellow posters have said, 20 or more percent should be considered a good price.
Hi all,
How about some input on my " maybe some luck" post. I'm not familiar with the Premier Edition all I know is that its nice. Any opinions either way will help me out.
