2nd gear

when i shift from 1 to 2 in low rev it is not smoth
i feel like screech.
if i pool the 1 for hige rev it go for 2 smooth
anyone feel the same?

There is a huge amount of material on this issue.

Go to the search box and look for " harsh 1-2 shift" and you will find enough reading material to keep you busy for weeks....

I wouldn't worry much. It's normal. I have 3 cars with similar transmissions and they all do the same thing. A bit clunky going into 2nd, especially when cold. Not so noticable when warmed up.

Yep, every Tremec I've driven has been the same. I usually go from 1 to 3 most of the time anyhow, unless I'm bootin' it. It generally makes for a smoother shift (aside from no grinding), because unless you really force the 1-2, they're so close together and by the time you let out the clutch, the RPMs have dropped too far and the car has to speed the engine back up, making it a bit jerky.
