So I have been told by a dealer that he ordered a white grand sport with the tension blue interior. If Chevy is going to start allowing u to order that interior and not be on a Collector's Edition, What's the point of getting the CE? Not worth the extra money then, IMHO.
"Available fall 2016, the limited production Collector Edition comes in all-new Watkins Glen Gray body color with Tension Blue fender hash marks. Inside, you’ll find a Collector Edition-exclusive Tension Blue leather-and-suede-wrapped interior with Blue accent stitching."
They'd have to counter the above statement of exclusivity, but I'm all for it. I'd definitely buy some oem parts for my own.
Gotta be twilight blue and white (buddy just bought one). As for that "tension blue".....well, lets just say its "different." Not my cup of tea but everyone has their own likes and dislikes. A lot of folks would not have a white car.

Probably just another instance of a dealer not knowing what he's talking about. Most likely was Twilight Blue he was referring to.

Yup, that might tick me off a bit unless the dealer got his blues mixed up.
We are just working on getting the Competition Seat Conversion available in this color; there are part number errors that we are working with GM Part Tech to fix
I would expect replacement parts to be available subchevy. OP was referring to it being ordered that way from the factory which I don't believe is possible even with an override.

Right. This is the only option for now if it's not a Collector's edition.
It may be an option in the future.
