No. The coolant comes out of the oil cooler and goes to this supplemental radiator to be cooled by 15 to 20 degrees then goes from this cooler into the main radiator for more cooling. This can be added to the Z51 cars that don't have it. It was developed for the Z51 cars running in race series.

New for 2017 models, Z51 Stingrays and Grand Sports use the same front mounted secondary radiator for two different purposes, depending on the transmission.
- 2017 manual transmission equipped vehicles are equipped with the front auxiliary engine coolant radiator.
- 2017 8-speed automatic equipped vehicles are equipped with the additional front auxiliary transmission cooler.
- There are no engine cooling changes for the 8-speed vehicles.
FYI .. this is for 2017 COUPES only .. 2017 Convertibles don't get the extra cooling ...
