I am new to the forum and I just purchased my first Corvette! I received some great feedback from the helpful members of this forum, and I pulled the trigger on a 2016 Stingray (new) with M7 + PDR + Red Calipers + 1LT. It is all white and exactly how I wanted it. Got a great deal on the leftover from last year so I am super stoked!
I know many of these questions have been answered, but I plan to keep the car mostly stock, but what are simple mods for an easy and reliable 20-50 RWHP? I imagine a CAI + Tune might do the trick? I won't do this until after the warranty expires, but I wanted to get a better idea.
In the short term, I will get tints and the driver mod- I plan to attend the Ron Fellow's driving school! Cant wait and look forward to perusing these forums on a regular basis!
Congrats, have fun with it and spend some time learning it, then enjoy doing what makes you feel good doing to it! No need on those types of mods to really wait until the warranty ends though (IMHO).
Fwiw I would probably NOT tune the car. You just bought it. If you have an issue down the road and a dealer sees a tune your warranty goes down the drain. I
Would wait till your warranty expires before flashing the car with a new tune. It only takes a little bad luck and even the smallest issue to send you to the dealer with a problem.... once a tune is documented your warranty is gone forever... 20-30 hp isn't really worth piece of mind imo.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
