Default My Spring countdown has begun

I am planning on bringing my car out of winter hibernation on Saturday,April 1st. I hope that the rain will stay away from Western PA on that date. I can't wait to get going this spring.

your countdown is the same as mine. I bought new from Macmulkin in early January. They dropped it off and took my 2014 with them. Only drove it in the garage.....praying for rain to remove all this salt on the roads here.

I am strongly considering driving mine today if it really hits 48 degrees. Those summer only tires make me a little leery.

I would probably not bring the car out from hibernation on April Fool's day lol. Superstitious. But it is very tempting!! I can't believe it's been almost 3 months it's been put away since Dec. 10 :-(

Who did you use for delivery, so you were able to do trade by pictures and filling out their forum.

Mine has been out for a couple of weeks now since snow and salt left. But I have Michelin A/S 3+ on. No problems yesterday at 15 degrees.

I'm surprised that so many people are keeping their Vettes tucked away in the garage all winter long this year. Way up north here in the Toronto area we have hardly had much of a winter at all and I've been driving my C6 at least once every week or two for the past 3 months. There have been many days that have been almost summer like outside!

April 15th is the target here as hopefully major potholes will be repaired by then. One will destroy a tire and rim in a second.

macmulkin made the delivery on a flatbed. Deal was done over the phone even without pictures. I told them my car was a garage queen and they trusted my word. When they got here they realized it was as I said. Great guys to deal with.

I have been driving my new 2017 since the day I drove it home (Dec 9th). Other than work I only didn't drive it one week due to weather. I put about sixty miles on the clock this weekend.

I plan on taking mine out after the next big rain to wash away any remnants of salt provided the temp hits above 40 or so. I am due for my annual oil change so that might be my first trip. I only put on 2K a year so I change the "earl" annually.

I bought my car in Dec I have driven it several times on nice days. I have put about 800 miles on the car since I bought it. I have driven the car with snow on the ground but not on the roads as long as the temp is above 45-50 I'm happy.
