What options does this car have ?

I'm considering buying this car it does not have a window sticker they can send me a picture of and I wonder if there's a way that I can plug the Vin number in somewhere to tell me what the options were.
I understand I can buy a window sticker from the museum at a later date.
This particular car has exposed carbon fiber inserts on the Tonneau cover of the convertible top. I've never seen that before? I wonder what else is exposed carbon fiber on it because I can't see from the pictures whats exposed carbon fiber or painted carbon flash.
It appears to have the carbon fiber stage two front splitter and side skirts I just can't tell if they're painted or exposed. The spoiler appears to be stage one only which is odd I would think I would have the taller wicker bills on it.
VIN 1G1YU3D67G5600558
There's the van if anyone knows a place where I can look it up or can tell me what's going on I'm trying to figure out the particulars about the car.
It's a Laguna blue over black, with a black top, 3LT, automatic,
convertible, ZO6.
As always any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you Kevin
- Laguna Blue tintcoat
- Jet Black 3LZ
- Black convertible top
- Carbon Flash hood stinger
- Battery Protection Package
- Carbon Flash badge package (standard on Z06)
- 8-speed automatic transmission
- Z06 black aluminum wheels
- The car was originally sold by Jim Glover Chevrolet in Tulsa, OK.
- From the info I can see, no open recalls.
- Most recent recorded odometer reading = 3,547.

The pieces behind the head rests on the convertible cover are visible carbon fiber. Instead of the ones I've normally see being painted carbon flash. It also has the stage 2,? I am guessing carbon fiber splitter upfront and the full length carbon fiber aero on the sides.
It also has the carbon fiber dash around the instrument cluster, do these items possibly show up on the window sticker as well?
Does your information source tell you what the original MSRP was?
Thank you so much for your help and your attention to answering my questions.
Thank you Kevin

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I Googled the web for how to obtain a window sticker for the car I bought and came across a website called 'MonroneyLabels.com'. Mike Monroney was the senator that introduced legislation back in 1959 requiring all new cars to display a label listing certain info including the base price and options. After talking to them, I found that you can open an account with them (took about 3 minutes) and enter a VIN into the program and within seconds you have the complete window sticker for a measley $7.99. The alternative was to go through the museum and I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to get the info for a cost of nearly $100.
In my case of purchasing a car on line and not able to see it in person, I ran across a lot of ads that either gave way too much info about the car listing all the standard equipment or didn't show the features I was interested in. I found that having the exact equipment about the car was instrumental in me purchasing it as I didn't want to get a surprise when I finally got it shipped home.
Hope this helps someone that needs additional information for a reasonable cost without waiting for weeks to get it.
Doug

I cannot believe the quality of people, and the information that I get on this forum.
Now that I've had a weekend to sleep on it, the question arises do I buy a new GS for 68,000 or do I spend 10 grand more and get a used 16, Z06?
Both cars are similarly equipped, although the grand sport is a 2LT and the ZO6 is a 3LT both automatic, convertible cars.
Thanks again guys you're awesome,
Kevin

- Can you get the color / options you really want
- If you have to finance, what do the numbers look like. New car financing is usually much better than used.
- How concerned about warranty are you
- Spending never stops at purchase. Extended warranties, paint protection (film or ceramic), detailing and then there are mods you may do. Will that $10k eat into that post purchase spend?
- Insurance cost differences
- What will YOU be using the car for. Lots of people here have opinions on Z06 vs GS, do you need the HP or not. Those opinions are not YOU of course, think about what you'll be using the car for and if you really want/need the additional HP (that's what it mostly comes down to)
Full disclosure, I'm a recent GS owner. That said, I haven't owned a Corvette before and I won it in a raffle, so I really did not know a bunch about the two prior to winning it. With what I know now, I am VERY happy with the GS (I had entered Z06 raffles). Does that mean I wouldn't have been happy with a Z06, no. But for right now, the GS is MORE THAN ENOUGH for me (my opinion) and how I'll be driving it. Who knows, that could change with time :-)

Those are great answers and great points!!
The car is a 16 and has 3000 miles on it, it was purchased in the area where it was traded in by an older gentleman. The Carfax is clean and has no service recalls. It is a Laguna blue which is my favorite color with black wheels and carbon fiber stuff.
I read through the lengthy thread about the GS versus Z06 comparison and not really sure what the net, net is other than overall the GS "might in some opinions be a better car." I'm not a track guy. I likely will not do any performance mods to the ZO6 which is why I would buy it because it should have plenty.
The car was certified giving it an extra year warranty so it's almost the same as a new warranty on the used car and I wouldn't do anything to mess with the warrantee on the Z06.
As far as financing the interest-rate on a one-year-old car probably pretty close to a new car based on me having a good credit score.
I just called my insurance it will go from 900 a year with my current Corvette to 1200 a year or a $25 a month increase.
This might sound odd but I have not driven an automatic 06 I've driven a stick and it flat hauled ***. So I'm assuming with a little discipline I should have a lot of fun sporting around an automatic supercharged car. I'm not a street racer or a tracker I'm just a gentleman who likes cool toys.
My favorite of all toys being my Corvette.
Last of all my ego is not really in the mix I don't need to have the biggest baddest thing out there because you never do I just love the Zeos six and was going to buy a grand sport but it's not going to have much more giddyup than what I already have.

Sounds really nice..... Laguna Blue is by FAR my favorite color. Our '16 was LB and when GM bought it back, they asked me to factory order a replacement. We chose Arctic White / red as Laguna Blue was not available anymore, and the new Admiral Blue doesn't do it for us.

Gives me a good excuse to procrastinate more from work, book a flight to Oklahoma and make a road trip out of it coming home.
That's my daydream at this moment.
Thanks again to all you guys,
Kevin
