Your question doesn't make sense to me. What do you mean by "a little further right than actual"?

This may or may not be helpful -

Thank you for the try. When using the left and right lines to center the car in a parking spot, the screen shows centered but the car is actually askew to the left a little. I'd like to make it a little more acurate, if possible.

Never wondered, worried or tried to use the left and right lines to line up the car. I guess I just naturally do it the old fashioned way. My main worry WRT the front camera is using it to avoid scraping the vette's nose. I did that with my Camaro - parked it over a parking stone - and when I backed out it ripped the front facade off requiring a $3k repair.

Yes, and the vette has a much lower clearance in the front end than the Camaro. I'm very glad I held off for 2016 so I could get the front camera (and, of course, Android Auto).

Yes, when the cameras are active, the center screen displays the camera in use along the bottom of the screen below the camera view. Press the displayed in use camera and the alignment lines will display or disappear.

The front camera was added in 2016. Retrofitting the 14's and 15's is near impossible. Best bet is to get a NavTool. Cost is about $350 plus $20 for a camera. Do a search to find the NavTool installation thread.

Me too. I don't recall seeing any lines on the front camera view

The front view camera would be more useful to me if it only showed one view as the back camera does. I find all the views difficult to use.

I agree it's chaotic to say the least. Just got my 2016 3LT/Z51 Auto Coupe Racing Yellow the other day. Once I figured out that the top portion of the screen was a top down view, it helped.

I still am trying to find out how to activate the camera without putting into reverse.

The manual says:
The front view shows after shifting from R (Reverse) to a forward gear, or by pressing CAMERA in the center stack, and when the vehicle is moving forward slower than
8 km/h (5 mph).

I don't see a CAMERA button. I also have seen in the forums that pressing the back button for 3 seconds at low speed will do it. I see a back button but it's for the on screen menu system.

Anyone know which button to push (and where is it) to activate the front cameras as you pull into a space without going into reverse first?

Thanks,

BannonB

The camera icon actually says camera on it (under it) from what I recall.

There are two screens of icons, it may be on your second screen. You can rearrange the icons like you can on a phone. Press and hold the icons until they change and you can then move them. I moved the camera to the main screen because I use it a lot.

I also tend to back into spaces more because it is much easier to jump to the camera that way, it just comes on when you go into reverse.

Thanks man...didn't understand what they were referring to but now see it. It's even available from the Media screen (across the top). I'll be using that!
