Default Air Pump Kit?

Will be taking a long road trip this summer, and am looking to get a small air pump kit that will fit in the storage cubby in the back of a C7 coupe. Anyone have a good quality kit they can recommend?

I have this one from Amazon: VIAIR 85P Portable Air Compressor. Good quality, good price and it fits in the storage cubby.

I picked one up at Pep-Boys when I had my C6 and still carry it. Sorry, I don't remember the model and I don't have easy access to the car right now.

Maybe a dumb question, but what do you use it for?

I guess but do you also need a jack, lug wrench and patch kit?

It is quite possible to end up with a run-flat that has a slow leak (have had one such tire on a couple of C6s). Having assured air onboard beats having to find a working air pump at a gas stop.

Just need a T-handle plug kit and some pliers to pull out the nail/screw. I have yet to need to plug a tire when traveling. I've always discovered the nails at home when I'm doing my walk around inspection. Lost count of how many tires I've plugged over years.

To end all the speculation: I do have run flats. In case I get a puncture in the boonies, I could plug the tire if necessary and use the air pump. I have had to run on a run flat with no air for a long distance, and ended up having to replace the tire.
Thanks for all the input. Got a VIAIR 87P at a local auto parts store this morning.

you might also want to get a repair kit, a pump does you zero good if you have a hole in the tire.

I guess everybody already said that, nvm.

Slime is the last resort, if you can't plug it while on the car. But, most of the time, my flats have been in my driveway or garage.

I purchased this kit in the link below. It has everything you need, and is in a nice case with velcro that stays put without sliding around the trunk.
