Default 2016 front camera wiring

I noticed that there is a wired connector behind the front grill on the right side right where the front parking camera would be if I had a camera in my 2016 Corvette Stingray. Is it possible that I only have to plug a camera into this connector to have a working front camera in my car?

The 2016's use two cameras up front, then give dual and blended views in the cabin. I highly doubt they even put the wiring harnesses in the 1lt trim level. Then there's the software to drive the camera, I doubt that's been installed on your car either.

it is actually VERY likely that the harness for the cameras is on the 1LT. It's pretty common to just use one harness for all trims and leave unused portions hanging. But Rooster is correct that the software needed is not going to be on your car and that would be the biggest obstacle of all to get around.

I used to have a 1990 Corvette and the wiring for the ZR1 power key was behind my radio fascia plate. I plugged a switch into it and "Full Power" lit up on my dash. It was amusing.
