The Sears Diehard Model 50748 AGM battery has been highly recommended. It has a 5-year warranty. It has the same recessed terminals as the OEM battery to accommodate the circuit board on the + terminal.
My 14 just got 3 years old last month, and magically the battery gave up. Any suggestions or should I just get another ACDelco?
If I were you. I'd check with your dealer. They might give you a new battery since it failed so close to warranty expiration. Some dealers value goodwill over a warranty technicality. Worth a try.
I was surprised when I saw my 2014 only came with a 30 month battery, so I figured anything over 3 years was risking a failure
I just changed mine last week with a AC Delco 48PG (gold series) battery with a 42 month free replacement...
If you work it right, you may never have to buy another battery.
Also, since the carpet is so stiff and easily torn, I suggest you get as much out of the way as possible. I removed the side panel so nothing was holding the carpet down, and removed the positive cable and extra connections so I could completely remove the fuse box instead of trying to just get it to stay off to the side. The battery is hard enough to get out without having things fall in the way...
Here is a photo of where the fasteners are on the side panel.
