Installing CF hood vent

So... I'm at the point where I'm putting the white clips onto the new vent and find out that the opening to accept the clips is ever so slightly narrower on the new vent than on the OEM one... My thumbs are Killing me.
Time to start shaving.

What brand did you buy? I've heard stories that a few manufacturers vents need to be slightly modified to fit. I bought one from TKO Performance and they guarantee it will fit perfectly. Mines being installed on the 31st of this month along with my Borla X-PIPE. Hopefully they won't have any issues.

Apr. but I was the real issue. When I calmed down and used my brain, the clips started falling like dominoes. Permatex black silicon is helping too.
