2017 backup camera
a few days ago my backup camera started going crazy.
at first there was a dark shadow along the bottom of the screen.....then it was white, it looked like snow.....now I see part of my license plate in the screen!

For what its worth.... I see my license plate on my '15 Stingray. Never thought much about it. The rear camera does get dirty, enough on some cars that have object detection that the system alerts the driver. Most Corvette owners never let their cars and cameras get that dirty. It is something to keep in mind though.

The very bottom of the screen normally shows the top surface of the rear bumper. You don't say what color your car is or if possibly there could have been snow on the back bumper when the screen showed white but if so, that's what you're seeing.
