Am I the only one who has never listened to their AM radio?

I do not listen to AM radio in any of my cars. Haven't done so in many years.

Ha, knew it. With Sirius and/or thousands of songs on their phone why would anyone listen to ancient frequencies? Worse yet, with my thousands of songs and Sirius, I still prefer the sound of that sweet exhaust more. Not much of listening to repetitive, static filled jabber anyway so no AM needed. FM on very, very rare occasions.

AM stands for "Absolutely Meaningless," right? It's only my own music via Bluetooth or the beautiful exhaust symphony for me. I like to control what I listen to while driving.

I listen to news/weather and sports talk on AM all the time. Every day as a matter of fact.

I thought I heard that AM radio is on the endangered species list and is protected by some government agency. Could be wrong about that.
My best recollection is I wanted to hear some football game while I was driving to pick up a pizza and it was only on AM radio. I think that happened a few years ago. No I don't listen to AM radio.

Between my 4,000+ personal collection of songs on my mini-thumb drive mounted inside the glove box, my Sirius XM and Pandora accounts, I have no use for AM radio. I get local stuff including traffic and weather on FM stations.
And I know some guys don't think much of the stereo system in the 3LT, I think it is superb and makes music sounds great.

The XM radio is great: no commercials, no blathering talking heads, good audio quality.
My only real complaint is it doesn't work well around tall buildings or trees.

We have a small AM station in our small town that has been on the air forever. On rare occasions I'll listen to it on one of my other vehicles. They play some great older music from the 40's, with more localized news and advertisers. Nothing like a little Benny Goodman just for kicks.
